Ohio University Adjunct Instructor of Management, Beginning Academic Year 2024-2025 (POOL Posting) in Athens, Ohio

Job Description:

Ohio University Regional Campuses are seeking part-time instructors to teach online courses at the undergraduate level in Management. The exact number of Instructors needed is undetermined at this time as it is primarily dependent upon enrollments and changing programmatic needs. When a need arises, the department will select qualified candidates from this pool.

Preference will be given to applicants who can teach in the following areas: Introduction to Management ( MGT 2000), Business Law ( BUSL 2000), Cultural Intelligence in Business ( MGT 3640), Business Ethics (BA 3900), and Business Communication (BA 1500), and Business Computing ( BMT 2000).

Positions will include teaching from 3 credit hours to up to 11 credit hours per term. There may be future possibility for various delivery modes including in person/face-to-face, hybrid or via technology.

This is not a remote position.

This is a part-time position eligible for sick leave and retirement benefits.

Minimum Qualifications:

Earned Master’s degree and a cohesive set of 18 semester credit hours of discipline-relevant graduate coursework. A combination of Master’s degree and experience in the field will also be considered.

Preferred Qualifications:

Industry experience in the field of instruction is preferred
