Job Description

Join our team as a Security Coordinator, where you'll handle general office duties, monitor CCTV, and assist with Lost and Found records. Responsibilities

  • Fulfill general office duties: typing, filing, phone answering, etc.

  • Assume administrative duties in accordance with changing requirements.

  • Be familiar with Omni fire alarm procedures and other emergencies.

  • Monitor CCTV.

  • Able to keep accurate records and communicate using radio equipment.

  • Assist with Lost and Found records and phone calls.

  • Report to work as scheduled while following the Time and Attendance Policy.

  • Maintain files and records with effective filing systems.

  • Follow office workflow procedures to ensure maximum efficiency.

  • Assist Loss Prevention Officers as needed.

  • Support other departments with various administrative tasks (redirecting calls, disseminating correspondence, scheduling meetings etc.).

  • Greet and assist visitors when they arrive at the office, assisting in settling customer complaints or issues.

  • Assist in vendor relationship management.

  • Assists with after hours requisitions.

  • Checks requisitions for proper authorization.

  • Assists in the inspection of the refrigeration units and brings to attention any deviation from the set temperatures as well as any deterioration of the quality of the perishables (record temperature on a daily log).

  • To follow/adhere to Omni Hotels operating procedures and local health regulations.

  • Verify that no requisitions are left open (all requisitions should be completed and closed out).

  • Monitor vendor load in / load out.

  • Report any loss or damage caused by vendors during movements.

  • Other tasks as assigned by management.

Qualifications

  • Prior experience as office coordinator or in a similar role is preferred.

  • Experience in customer service is preferred.

  • Knowledge of basic bookkeeping principles and office management systems and procedures.

  • Outstanding knowledge of Microsoft Office and/or other office software.

  • Working knowledge of office equipment.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Organized with the ability to prioritize and multi-task.

  • Reliable with patience and professionalism.

  • Follow all aspects of job safety

  • Stand and/or sit for an extended period or for an entire work shift.

  • Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds with frequent bending, reaching overhead, and twisting.

  • Ability to operate hand truck, lift-jack and dolly.
