Anticipated initial assignment is Orleans Career & Technical Education Center, Medina, NY. The individual will provide electrical/electronics instruction to high school juniors and seniors enrolled in BOCES programs. The individual will be responsible for planning, implementing, and facilitating all instructional requirements in the areas of electricity/electronics theory, power tools, small hand tools, residential house wiring, National Electric Codes (NEC), industrial motor controls, ladder logic, wiring and programming of Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC), solar power, and bending of various types of conduit. The individual must have or be eligible for appropriate teaching certification upon hire. It is anticipated that an individual with industry experience would qualify for certification with successful completion of three workshops and an examination (if applicable). Regular attendance and dependability are required. Other responsibilities may be assigned. Assignment is subject to change.

Salary shall depend on qualifications and experience. For a candidate without permanent or professional teaching certification, the estimated (ten-month basis) annual salary range is $41,500 to $54,500. For a candidate with permanent or professional teaching certification, the estimated (ten-month basis) annual salary range is $46,500 to $64,500.
